Student's Bio
Vitrag Sunil Patel is a senior majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) and Medicine, Health, and Society (MHS). He works with Dr. Alyssa Hasty to study the role of Complement Factor 5 (C5) in metabolism and insulin resistance. He has participated in the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Summer Research Program and has received the Dr. Sydney & Becca Fleischer Award for summer research.
