Student's Bio
Sophia Chou is a Junior majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Medicine, Health, and Society. She worked with Julia Bohannon from the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Christopher LaRock of Emory University to evaluate small molecule inhibitors against LasB activation during infections of macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes and the synergy of these inhibitors with conventional antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.
