Student's Bio
Joyce Kariuki is a senior majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She worked with Dr. Lars Plate to study how SARS-CoV-2 take over host cells upon infection. Her goal has been to study how Nonstructural protein 3 (protein encoded by SARS-CoV-2) affects host cell stress response.
